Man, I am so ready for the next season! I was watching a rerun this afternoon, and there’s is this scene in the bullpen. Wile Lau and Haf are bantering in the foreground, in the background Rhyes drops a folder in front of Brady, and Brady looks at the folder, looks at Rhyes, then just pushes it off to the side. Rhyes nods and walks away, and that’s it. Is there a whole story there, or what? Anyone catch it, and have any ideas?

Murder Mystery Published
The murder mystery I wrote with my poker teacher Don Hill is being serialized on an online poker magazine called Blind Straddle. The sample can be found here.
It’s a subscription site: you have to pay a fee to get access to the story. I think it’s like $15.00 a year or so. They have writers like Bob Ciaffone and Lou Krieger, as well as Adam Stemple and Chris Fox, so, while it may not be worth it just for my story, for any serious poker player it’s an easy call.
Hey, you got a band?
We’re looking for some bands to help us engage in some viral marketing . Are you in a band? Do you have a friend who is in one? Post a link to your music here, or else send it to Kit at dreamcafe dot com, and we’ll give it a listen. Ideally this should involve good publicity both for our project and any bands we end up working with.
Thanks.
Book Update
I really like to plow straight through the first draft, however often the plot suddenly turns on itself and surprises me, figuring to fix it in the rewrite. Sometimes, however, there are just too many unexpected changes, and I have to stop and get things in line before I got on.
Iorich just did that, around chapter 11. The rewrite is complete, and now there’s a chapter 12 to go with it. So things progress.
