I’m in Texas until the end of the month. Skyler and I hope to finish up a draft of the next Incrementalists book. I’ve also gotten the line-edit on Hawk from TNH and should be doing a revision over the next week or so. I’ve a start on Vallista, and might get a bit more done on that while I’m here. Finally, there’s the Seekrit Project, that I expect to get a bit more done on pretty soon.

I’m really glad; it sounds as if everything is coming together in ‘The Perfect Storm’ edition of your life. Apart from the drowning bit, obviously.
And I caught a double reference in the BBC Musketeers series, where one of the Musketeers who invites people to play cards with him has cards up his sleeve; naturally I really do not believe that you do have physical cards up your sleeve, when you are playing poker, but I can still remember the moment when it became obvious to me, that, as a writer, you have so many cards up your sleeves that it’s probably a miracle if you manage to stand up…
