Hey Steve,
Sorry to hear about Reesa’s health. You may recall that I’ve done this dance twice–the first time 18 years ago with a rare, highly metastatic cancer that was usually fatal (note still here) and again a couple years ago with a different cancer.
Now I’m hanging out with Jay Lake and seeing him through his chemo. So, what I’m saying is, I’m good for advice from the been there, done that, did it again and be damned I don’t want to do it anymore department.

Dang, that’s what got my mom. My understanding is that our ability to treat it has improved dramatically in the 20 years since then though. Best wishes Reesa for a speedy and complete recovery.

Make sure you take care of yourself, Steve. It’s easy to run oneself into the ground when something like this happens. Having everyone sick never helps.
