Fourth Street Programming

June 13th, 2008 by skzb · 8 Comments

Early this morning Reesa, Kit, and I finished up the first cut of programming for Fourth Street Fantasy Convention.  As usual, we’ve already found one panelist who can’t be there at the times her panels are scheduled, but that’s part of the gig.

The current plan is to leave for Minnesota on Tuesday, arriving sometime on Wednesday.   A local zombie has agreed to watch the house for us while we’re gone, and we’ll be boarding the pets.  See you soon at Fourth Street!

Ooo, exciting! Can’t wait to see what you’ve cooked up. I’m headed up to the con on Friday. I’m hoping to read at least one thing by each panel-author-type before then, which may be impossible given my glacial reading pace. But I’m having a ball trying!

Nothing to do with your post, but I’ve been wondering for sometime… How should one pronounce the names on Dragaera that look like “Lord F—–”, what do the signify, and huh?

Now it looks like leaving on Wednesday, and driving all night–four of us in the car.

    I’ll be there mid-afternoon Friday!

This is random but if you ever need an animal sitter I’m fully qualified and have references. I hate when people have to board their pets. I couldn’t help but offer. I know you probably don’t but vaguely remember me from ApolloCon but I’m sending you an email with the details about A&M’s Writers Guild plans. I would really love if you, Kit, and Reesa could come one night. Anyway you’ll be hearing from me soon!

Many thanks, Lola. And I might well take you up on the pet sitting offer (although not soon, I hope; I want to not leave the house for a while. For one thing, there’s this book that needs writing).
