As you're plugging books, Steward of Song by Adam Stemple came out quite recently, and I found it a delightful sequel to Singer of Souls.

I got the arc from PNH today and it is awesome. Some cool riffs on “1984″ in it was well.

It is quite amazing. My review is viewable above. (I said a little more than skzb did.)

I still think it will probably be one of the most important books published during my lifetime.

Alas, my new year’s resolution was to not buy any more books this year, until I clear my (massive) ‘to read’ shelf. Except for _Jhegaala_, of course!

I’ll have to put _Little Brother_ on my ‘next year’ list…
